This is a gem of an independent bookstore. I visited in October, the selection of books are carefully chosen, there is room upstairs to sit and browse awhile, staff very helpful, and I did some very useful early Christmas shopping.

We come to Penrith once a year and always pay a visit here to pick up a book or two for our daughter and sometimes for us. There are some treats for young and old within, accompanied with friendly, helpful service. A nice independent bookstore, which is something that has become all too hard to find in recent years.

Really great selection of books for adults, you will find several books you want to read across many genres. The small size of the shop is almost a strength because you have a lot of choice, but you are not overwhelmed by options. Also children's books downstairs.I've not been in that many bookshops, but this is easily the best one I've been in.
