Absolutely incredible studio in an inspiring setting. The big live room is magnificent and the available microphones and equipment all sound great. There is a professionally equipped kitchen and a bunch of other lovely rooms to hang out in when you've got a bit of downtime. Behind the desk Pete is the most reassuring voice you could ask for and is full of ideas to help coax whatever sounds you've got in your head out into the recording
Had a fantastic weekend finishing up an album at The Studio at Sunbeams, I've rarely felt so enthused by the space I'm recording in. Next time we're recording I can't imagine we'll consider anywhere else. Gone are our days of stuffy box rooms and lifeless acoustics. Fantastic gear all round too. Get yourself there (and make it a long weekend so you can get out and see the lakes between takes!)
