The best fish and chips I have ever experienced. Gorgeously fresh fish in a light, crispy batter, perfect chippy chips and excellent curry sauce. Portion size was spot on. When I visited with a friend we had to leave in a hurry and run back to our car which was parked on the other side of Penrith, we ate en-route, stuffing our faces as we jogged back. It was literally impossible to stop eating. My only fault is that it's too far away from home for me to regularly visit.

unsurprising they have won so many awards. outrageously good fish and chips. simply faultless. the only negative i can give is that i dont live in penrith to eat here regularly.

A really lovely chippy. They have been serving chips since 1928 I think it said inside. The building is lovely too. Part of the walls upstairs have exposed parts of the original wall.Staff are very friendly. Meals are a good size at very reasonable prices. They even have vegetarian options.
