Walking through Penrith and needed a quick meal before our journey home. I Googled this pub as I am fussy about my food. Reviews were good and so we ordered the lighter apetite meal. The fish and chips (5.50) was beautiful, I can't fault it. Lovely friendly staff too. Oh, beer was good too thankyou General Wolfe. We'll definitely be back.
