The hosts were very welcoming and could not have done more to make our stay better. The room was spotless, the king size bed was comfy, the breakfast was great and the dog was lovely.
Lovely stay Elaine and Richard were great hosts and breakfast was lovely and must mention the star of the red townhouse was Dora the lurcher.
Lovely warm welcome from Elaine and Richard. Clean comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. Helpful with knowledge of the area, great base for sight seeing in the area. A real gem will be returning soon.
We went on their b&b training course for a weekend. The owners are friendly, experienced and knowledgeable how to make the most of running a b&b. The course was very useful in setting out future direction. The accommodation is comfortable and the breakfast range more than acceptable. It's location near the town centre of Penrith make it ideal for finding other places to eat in the daytime and evening. It is also within easy reach of both motorway and cross-Pennine errors by car, cycle or foot. You can also visit the castle or the beacon from which you can see into the Lakes, including Ullswater in the distance. A good place to stay with sightseeing opportunities in the town.
Stayed overnight on our way to Skye. Run by a friendly couple, modern decor, clean rooms, and nice facilities. Breakfast was lovely and enjoyed a good chat with Richard and Elaine. Parking available, WiFi too, and would be more than happy to stay again.
