Chatburn KennelsI first took my dog here when he was not much more than a puppy, by chance. I had moved to North Yorkshire and was due to go on holiday from Manchester Airport and left it late to book a kennel in the local area. . That's how my dog first ended up there for 2 weeks.The nearest I could find on the way to Manchester Airport was Chapburn!! I worried a bit that first time. I don't now! When I picked him up the dog was absolutely fine. Happy, healthy and well groomed ( They have a young girl on site that operated a grooming parlor and I think residents must get a once over while they are there.Fender is now 13 and hasn't been to another kennel since. The care is extraordinary and I know my dog will enjoy his holiday as much as I hope to enjoy mine. Thoroughly recommended. Thank you Chatburn !
We have left our dogs at Chatburn Kennels for a number of years now. We actually live two hours away but wouldn't leave them anywhere else. We are always met with a very warm welcome by experienced and caring staff. One of our dogs has a long term condition and requires a special diet and medication so its difficult for us to leave her but we know she is in the very safest of hands at Chatburn. The staff quickly get to know the dogs they care for, their characters and quirks which is reassuring when our other dog is rather boisterous and requires a confident and competent handler. The setting is beautiful. The dogs are housed in outstanding, immaculate kennels and are walked down a lovely country lane. Grooming is also available so it's very much a little holiday for them too. Win win!
Collected my little darling - Trixie-Belle - from Chatburn. after another holiday at Cat Camp Trixie is obviously very happy and settled during her stays with Liz and the gang, as she quite happily saunters in and out of her carrier on delivery and collection.All the staff are so very friendly and they all conscientiously run an excellent establishment. If you are looking for top quality - I highly recommend Chatburn Kennels and Cattery.
Friendly establishment, dogs always well looked after by staff and walked daily in open fields on site. Always well settled, relaxed on pick up. We leave our dogs here every time we go on holiday. This place is so good we travel up from Manchester. Highly recommend.
We have two dogs that stay with Liz and the team at Chatburn four or five times a year. We are always impressed with the care and attention Liz and the team give our dogs. We have young boys and when dropping them off we sometimes have tears , the girls look after the boys as well as the dogs and always make sure the dogs have everything they need.
