To host a large family of 8 was a tall order, however, the management and all the staff took it on the chin tonight and provided exceptional customer service. Brilliant food, well presented, all for a very reasonable price. Cant wait to return. The Anderson party.
Fantastic pub with great food and the staff a great, we had a table right by the log fire on a cold wet day with our well behaved dog, the food was great and the pub was very warm, just what you want. Car park righ next door, and the sports on the TV which keep the boy quite .
Always get an exceptional welcome. Love the atmosphere and everything is spotless. Go for Sunday lunch but had a bar meal there tonight. Good mix of clientele. Dogs welcome.

Visited while on holiday staying in the local area. We got a good welcome from the staff. The food portions are generous and the prices are about average for the area. A typical local pub, the food was good but one meal was average. There is an outdoor play area for children, not bad all in all.
