Good car park for walk up gobarrow fell
Magnificent views lovely walks there no place like England
The carpark is a carpark. The walk and surrounding area however is very nice.We took the toddler with us and it kept her busy and happy until nap time.National trust members park for free.
Big parking space. Convenient with Aira Force waterfall attraction, clean toilets that look pretty even from the outside, small cottage selling tea and cakes, nice scenery to drive out to, along the entire lake.Waterfall is an easy 10-15min hike up. Very manageable. Good for kids too.
*TAKE COINS*Not a large car park however a quicker turn around than other car parks due to the length of the walk.The reason for two stars is that the car park is 5 for two hours with no facility to pay with a card & is miles away from a cash machine.The good news is that it's free for National Trust MEMBERS however take coins if you're not.
