Lovely campsite. Toilet and shower facilities were very clean. Warden was very kind and helpful, being camping novices, he offered his help in pitching our tent even though it was raining. Really appreciated his help. Thankyou. Would recommend this camp site and we certainly will be back.
We have been coming to The Cove for the last 4 - 5 years. Being a bit apprehensive this year, as the previous wardens have retired, our worries were put to rest immediately on arrival. Michelle and Brian, the new wardens, are as warm and friendly as the previous ones. Brian saw we were struggling putting the tent up and came across to help which must have saved us a lot of time and I for one was very grateful.Ideally situated the Cove is a nice quiet site which has recently had some new pitches.The shower block is always kept clean.There is a field to walk your dogs and a play ground for the children.We will definitely be returning next year.
Great site, just stopped over for one night on our way to Scotland. Helpful warden and great dog walking area.
Beautiful location, quiet and peaceful. Well situated for exploring the lakes.Wardens are very friendly and helpful.Only criticism would be only two showers so had to wait at busy times.
