Peaceful, great view of the lake but handy for the amenities. Will definitely try again when at Ullswater as no issue about 3 day minimum stay. Reasonable price but bordering on expensive.
We had a single nights visit in a glaming pod. This was our first experience and it was a good experience! the site was nicely set out and well maintained clean and tidy. we would visit again. The store had all the essentials with a cafe on the side which we didn't visit. all in all a good time in our short visit.
We love this site. It is great for families. Excellent facilities and great for kids. It's very quiet and provides great access to explore the lakes. We love Glendridding which is a short drive away.
Really nice site, we had a pitch not too far from the play area which the kids loved. The facilities were kept clean, although the shower block near us could have done with an extra shower or two. I really enjoyed being surrounded by trees and the staff were welcoming. Well certainly return!
