Very nice site! Lovely views. A little background noise but not disturbing. We'll definitely be using this site again.
What a lovely site, beautiful scenery, motorhomes only at the moment as there were no showers when we stayed for 1 night, its like wild camping but with with hard standing and electric and water for each van, 14 not bad.... very quiet.well kept and friendly owner

This is a fantastic wee site. Perfectly level pitch, hook up and water to hand, black waste/chemical dump station, the grey waste drain is full van-width allowing both drains on my Hymer to be open, so much faster emptying (and its on a wee slope so fully drained the grey tank).Owners are lovely, attentive but not overbearing, very welcoming.Site was wonderfully peaceful. We will be back for every trip to the area.
Difficult one to call. Little CL site. Set in an ideal location for those traveling on to Scotland or those wanting to walk on the howgills or in the lakes. Clean toilet and away from a busy road. Very basic but it is only a CL and one would not expect more. So for what they offer is good. Very good. Why it's difficult to call is simple. If we arrived in our family tent then the four of us would have been charged for one pitch. We arrived traveling light with two little two person tents and was charged for two pitches. Don't think this was fair. Hence I have not given it four stars. On the whole the site could do with some board leaf weed killer and the grounds mowing in the centre to stop campers getting wet feet. Toilet paper might be nice.
