Lovely quite site, clean and well kept. Keswick and Penrith easily reached by bus if you don't want to use your car. Ideal site if you want to tour the area.

We arrived on a weekend in July when the site was full. We loved the site, the views were to die for, the walk for the dogs the best I've ever seen and we saw red squirrels! Unfortunately the toilets and showers left much to be desired. I had to ask for the toilet rolls to be refilled as they were empty, there was toilet roll all over the floor, bins not emptied. Shame as I think they only need an extra pair of hands to make this a fabulous site.
Very tranquil and beautiful spot. Staff could not be more friendly and helpful. Stunning place, this is our new favourite place to stay.
Our lovely little find we plan on returning again and again. It's just perfect and quiet and surrounded by beauty!
