Average prices for the Lake District National Park, this one of the most popular sites and definitely one of the biggest in the lakes. It's probably a safe bet for first time or novice campers as it has everything you would need like a clubhouse, shop, take-a-way and it's own access to the Lake. Although ideal for families. It can get a bit noisy so if you're after the peaceful, tranquillity of the countryside, its not the best place for you. It's also a good idea to book on to the site in advance as it get very busy in the summer.

Took our 2 young kids on their first camping weekend here. There was no trouble getting a spot and pitching our tent. The toilets, showers and washing up areas were all clean and modern. It's right near ullswater too and right in the middle of the lakes. The clubhouse was great and lively on a night time and the play areas were small but well maintained and the kids loved them.Overall good camping site.
Great campsite. Facilities are clean and well placed around the site. Restaurant and take away offer good well priced food.It's wonderfully situated next to Ullswater lake which the site has easy access to. Play areas for the children, and access to the fell. There's an awful lot to do or not to. A short walk to Pooley bridge either by road or the lake side. I could go on.
I love it here. Stayed many times. Very clean showers and toilets. Great shop if you need any bits or have forgot something. Great views and right next to the lake. Good club house but can get really busy. Definitely recommend. Not far from poorly bridge shops and famous gin shop!!
