Very pleasant stay peaceful week lovely place to chill out although did have a group of campers that didn't abide by the rules over the weekend however once they had gone on the Sunday it was peaceful again. The only down side to it was could do with some heating in the shower blocks then it would be perfect.other than that really enjoyed our stay would defo recommend it
Brilliant campsite!! It was our first time at Waterside and it will definitely not be the last. We arrived early and got a good pitch right on the lake and it was magic. The kids were straight in splashing! Slept really well on the evenings and was pleasantly surprised at how quiet the campsite was at night; I had the best nights sleep I've had in ages!!The facilities were good considering they were free.A lovely walk into the villiage. Can't wait to return when the season begins again next year!!
Absolutely amazing site. This site has everything ..... Small shop ... Boat.hire... bike hire..... Children's play area.... Snack bar and a lovely lakeside walk into town. I would highly recommend this site.
Clean and quiet campsite. Some drawbacks which bothers me more than maybe anyone else. 1) Showers are clean but you need to keep pressing the button every 5 sec. Could be adjusted to 20 sec. Not good. 2) Personnel are the first not to stick to their own rules. For example driving in the campsite more than 10mph where the speed limit is 5mph. Their own dogs were not on the lead........Good points.1) Lake views. Super. If you lucky in summer, you can even swim.2) Overall the site is tidy and clean.3) Picnic tables available.4) Shop will take your tech to charge it for free.Will I go back? Yes I will.
Great campsite with amazing views of the lake (pictures below show view). The site is conveniently close to Pooly Bridge, the nearest village nearby. There is a lake side footpath direct from the site to the village. The site had average showering/toileting facilities. And also has a small campsite shop which sells bacon, eggs, milk, playing cards, and washing up stuff etc. The campsite also offers a reasonably priced rowing boat hire for the lake. Amazing site especially for kids as it offers a play area and plenty of space.
